1. Agreement Overview

By booking and using the cleaning services provided, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined herein. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Client") and the cleaning service provider.

Satisfaction Guarantee:

We are committed to providing you with a high-quality service. If you are not satisfied with the cleaning service provided, we offer a satisfaction guarantee. Under this guarantee, you may request that a new team be assigned to revisit and address any concerns you have with the initial cleaning. To be eligible for this satisfaction guarantee, you or your authorized representative adult 18 or over must have done a walkthrough with our service provider and you must contact us and submit your request within 24 hours of the completion of the service.

Our aim is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the cleaning service provided. We will make all reasonable efforts to resolve your concerns by deploying a new team to make things right at no additional charge to you.

2. Service Booking


Scheduling:

Clients can schedule cleaning services through the website, phone, or in-person. All appointments are subject to availability.

Access:

Clients must provide access to the premises at the scheduled cleaning time. If access is not provided, a cancellation fee may apply.

3. Walkthrough Policy

An initial walkthrough with the customer and cleaner(s) will be conducted before starting the cleaning to review the scope work with notes made when the booking was made. During the cleaning, we kindly ask that you allow the cleaners to perform their tasks without micromanagement, as this may be counterproductive.

Once the cleaning is complete, customers will have the opportunity to conduct a final walkthrough. If customer notice any areas that were missed, please point them out to the cleaner so they can be redone immediately.

4. Payment Authorization & Terms

By submitting my payment information, you hereby authorize Maid in the Bay Area (“Company”) to charge your credit or debit card for the agreed-upon amount for cleaning services. You further authorize the Company to charge this card for recurring payments if you have selected a recurring cleaning plan.


You understand and agree that:

  • Charges will only be processed after services have been rendered.

  • The Company’s payment processor may place a temporary authorization hold on your card (typically up to 24 hours prior to service) solely to verify card validity. This is not a charge, and no funds will be captured until services are completed. This hold may result in your bank reserving the funds and not make them available for other purchases specially in debit cards.

  • Maid in the Bay Area does not permanently store your full card number. Only the last four digits are retained for reference, and all recurring transactions are securely processed through our third-party payment processor.

  • You are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds or available credit on the payment method provided. Failed transactions may result in delayed or canceled service.

  • All payments are subject to the Company’s cancellation and refund policy as stated on the website or provided at booking.

By proceeding, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to these payment terms and authorize the charges as described.
